Moving from his childhood home in South Eastern Idaho,
Kevin began his career at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1980.
There he met coworkers with similar musical backgrounds and experience.
Music jams with friends Robert Allen, Nick Selchow and Bruce Woods turned into
Kevin’s first band, Roslo’s Emporium — based on Kevin’s nickname Roslo (pronounced Roz-low).
Sometime in the 1990’s Roslo’s evolved into the band Edgar’s House with Kevin and original
Roslo’s member Bruce Woods trading duty on guitar and bass,
along with the added talents of drummer Terry McIntosh and keyboardist John Honig.
In 2005 Edgar’s House disbanded and Kevin, along with friends Rob and Nick began playing out
as a three piece cleverly named KNR using their first name initials.
They eventually added their occasional guest artist Joe Lee as the band’s full time drummer.
After testing out a couple of variations on KNR as a name for this new group,
they finally settled on Kinetic. After many years of performing, Joe, and later Nick, decided to
move on to other endeavors. Kevin remains active as a vocalist and guitar player in
Kinetic and KNR, along with writing and recording his original music in his home studio.
